Festival “Avanti” is the only chamber music festival in Kaunas City, which is dedicated to present the programmes of chamber music and global premieres as well as a wide range of chamber ensembles. Thanks to the free-of-charge concerts this festival is open to everyone.

Over the past 11 years, the festival has brought together many Lithuanian chamber music performers and ensembles, as well as international artists. The organiser of the festival, VMU Chamber Orchestra, seeks to foster friendships with other ensembles, even those in competition.
